A Stencil of Fun!

Hello there :-)

Oh what fun I've had this week....I brought a stencil book at a bargin price once when shopping...As I usually do, I put the book on the book shelf and sort of forgot about it...It wasn't until I was looking for something else I came across the book again...
As I was looking at the stencil book, a few ideas started popping into my creative little brain....
I wanted to make some Thank-you cards for the children who came to Sarah's birthday, but I wanted them to look crafty and exciting.... This is what I came up with:

I stenciled three different colored flowers using the same stencil....
I then wrote a little thank-you note over the flower and gave it a soft wash with glitter added to the paint and brushed over the top of the whole card...
Because the cards were for the kiddies, I had put their first intial above the flower...
On the back of the card I had put one color and a little wash color over the top..
I then used a star stencil and stipple in a lighter color as a background..
Also on the back of the card I pasted a photo of each child....
To finish it off I put a hole through the top of the intial and put a tie on so the children can hang them up at home....

They were so excited when Sarah gave out the cards...Even the teachers were impressed....

I'm still quilting the table topper I had spoken about in my last post..It's taking a little more time than first thought...Hummm..Too many ideas..Thanks for stopping by...I hope you all stay well...Take care.....
